There are so many reasons why I love Glyndon! I love Glyndon because this is where I call home! I love the walkability, the community events, and the proximity to all of the amenities I use all the time, like Starbucks, Chick Fil- A & Target, along with the community staples like Reister’s Daughter, The Cow, and Wear it’s At. Friday nights in the summer, you can catch Music on Main (a free summer concert series), The Bloomin’ Arts Fest kicks off every spring with local blooms and music, and the Beer and Wine Festival is always a fun time to connect with neighbors and meet new people. Both local fire departments and the local library host a ton of community events, and the Glyndon Pool is the perfect place to take a dip all summer long!

Things to do in Glyndon
There are so many things to do in Glyndon and surrounding areas. Don’t forget to check out the local events calendar, but here are some of my favorite things to do:
Reisterstown Sports Complex: Stop by and enjoy the ice rink, baseball diamond, and walking trails
Glyndon Station Park: Small picnic and playground area perfect for the littles
Emory Grove: Take a step back into history by visiting the initial summer community that Glyndon and Reisterstown were built around, offering historical events and classes throughout the year in junction with HGI.
Glyndon Swim Club: Sign up for a membership to enjoy the pool, meet neighbors, and others in the community
Main Street: Enjoy the many main street events and festivals in Reisterstown, like the Friday Night concert series all summer long, the Reisterstown Day parade, and the 4th of July Fireworks. Walk in the Glyndon 4th of July parade, where the whole neighborhood is in the parade together, ending at a local lawn catered by Santonis! Join the HGI or GCA committees and give back to the neighborhood while getting to know your neighbors
